Over the last few years, options for seniors have expanded greatly and, as the Baby Boom generation moves toward the day when the family house seems much too large and the taxes unbearable, the housing needs of our senior population will be increasingly crucial.

Some of the many communities being built in New Jersey are geared to the active lifestyles of Baby Boomers, with prices that reflect their successful lifestyles and the high return on the houses they're now selling.

But, of course, not everybody is in that league.
Affordable housing is available, if you know where to look. As defined on the Presbyterian Homes and Services (PHS) website, "affordable housing communities offer comfortable, attractive and reasonably-priced housing options to individuals with limited incomes.
